Music Rights Passport

Music Rights Passport helps composers, publishers, labels and music-rights teams keep the people, works, recordings and decisions behind a catalog connected. Instead of scattering split sheets, identifiers and registration notes across files and inboxes, teams can work from a shared rights workspace.

Connected rights workflows

  • Songwriting splits: connect writers and publishers, review shares and preserve collaborator decisions as traceable evidence.
  • Composition metadata: organize titles, identifiers, writers, publishers and registration details around each musical work.
  • Recording metadata: relate artists, labels, albums, identifiers and sound recordings back to the underlying composition.
  • Catalog operations: manage personal and professional catalogs while keeping private rights data behind explicit authorization boundaries.

From documentation to professional workflows

The product supports signed split evidence, catalog onboarding, controlled exports and registration preparation. Public reference and supervisor experiences help approved catalog information become discoverable without treating reference data as proof of ownership, licensing availability or verified rights.

Current stage

Music Rights Passport is in Beta. Its public site, signup, catalog and rights-management surfaces are available, while provider integrations, large-catalog ingestion and production evidence workflows continue to mature behind review and authorization gates.

Firebelly's role

Firebelly has contributed across product strategy, UX, application architecture, authorization, relational rights modelling, Supabase workflows and full-stack implementation, with particular attention to provenance and the separation between reference data and ownership claims.
