FriendR is a mobile-first concept for people who want a useful social graph without surrendering it to another centralized network. Relationships, tags and trust context are designed to remain on the user's device by default.
The prototype explores onboarding, profile sharing, QR-based connections, relationship tags, cross-app discoverability controls and a private view of the people a user knows and trusts.
Users will be able to decide which accounts or relationship signals to reveal and which applications may use them. Potential integrations include wallets that label trusted recipients, messaging tools that connect known contacts, and identity products that need a consented proof of relationship.
FriendR is in product and interaction prototyping. The team is validating the minimum useful relationship model, the meaning of trust inside the product and the boundary between strictly local data and selectively shareable proofs.
A local-first social address book for private relationships, trusted contacts and portable identity connections.
